A Photo a Day, Keeps the Fat Away

This has got to be done, one of the most proven effective goal reaching is Accountability. 
I hold myself hostage in my own body. I am my own worst enemy.
I will regret this. i know it. I cannot argue, this shit is raw, there is no camouflaging, no photoshop, no slimming belt and no over sized tee to hide the truth, that is body fat.

Lets be honest, we are on the beach all summer in teeny tiny "brasil" bikinis (names not mentioned here), it should be no surprise seeing a dame in her opaque, boyfriend style tighty whiteys (also available in black, as seen here). Apologies to all my sensitive friends, who will of by now disowned me, and my religious friends, who pray for me at least once a week. I love you all, but this is for Science.

I will be posting Shameless Shots every week to track the effects, positive and negative of this adventure.
The effects of posture, fat fluctuations, bloating, muscle gain and so on.
Body measurements and weight will be recorded and posted as well. Great.

My missfit assigned photog (my lil sister), made the observation and asked me the question: 
"What if you can't get any thinner? What if this is the furthest you can go?"
My response was like, Fuck. Energy in energy out. Its got to be right? It makes perfect sense.
That being said, I'd like to make an NB note that its not all about "thin-ness" its about challenging your self to reach plateaus you never thought were possible. Like my trainer at 360 says to his clients, its not about looking good and impressive, its about performance and endurance! Aesthetics are just fantastic by products, and maybe this summer hearing the words "Pool Party" won't make me rush to find the biggest kaftan on sale and force myself on one of those celebrity detox diets or even worse, start eating serviettes.
I say bring it on, bring on the sweat fests, the feeding frenzies, the aching muscles the huge amounts of wet sweat drenched washing, but lets take it slow, baby steps, Michaelangelo didnt carve David in a day!

Problem areas

• Excess face fat, unnecessary adipose evenly spread. 
• Weak Deltoids + Pectoralis Major, resulting in inner arm fat (eeuw), needs to slim by 3cm
• Too much fat around tricep, but tricep is considerably strong, needs to slim by 4cm
• STOMACH FAT. Got to go! Needs to shed IT ALL.
• Inner thigh, needs to slim by 4cm

Problem areas

• Horrendous posture , weak core, weak Gluteus Maximus, and maybe poor Thoraco-lumbar Fascia? 
Where are those back muscles??? Use them for crying out loud.
• Tummy fat as mentioned above.
• Inner arm fat as mentioned above
• Unnecessary Tricep fat, as mentioned above
• NO calve definition
• NO hammy definition
• NO sign of anterior Deltoid?? A girl needs some chest muscle to hold them puppies up
• NO Gluteus Maximus?


Measurements

I missed my assessment at 360 so my actual weight needs to be recorded :(
Keep in mind I started my physical regime on 2 June 2010.
All very haphazard along with bad eating, poor discipline and balance as well as injuries.
I weighed in at 51.5kg on 2 June 2010

Bicep 26cm
Tricep 27.5cm
Waist (thinnest part) 64cm
Tummy (below belly button) 75cm
Glutes 87cm
Thigh 51cm

Weight, BMI, Body Fat %, Blood pressure and RHR are to follow in upcoming posts.

Now that we know we stand with what we've got, where do we go from here??
GOAL SETTING...

    1) Well done on the blog! it looks magnificent. Two posts and I'm hooked already!
    2)You're a freak of fitness, A force of nature, one who truly cannot be understood by many (I speak as an associate to the trait) BUT! You're focused and I promise no more cupcakes coming your way, just healthy stuff like carrots etc.
